A.Quality tents come with seams that are factory taped, which is not the same as sealed. Taped seams have a waterproof material placed between overlapped seams, which are then double stitched. This sewing technique adds to the strength of the seam and helps eliminate any gaps when the tent is stretched. These seams will be more water-resistant than normal seams, but they are not water-proof. The seams should still be sealed to ensure the best water-proof protection.

A.The easiest way to clean your tent is to keep it from getting dirty in the first place. Use a ground cloth to keep dirt and debris off of the floor. Avoid bringing debris, dirt, and sand into the tent by brushing off boots and clothes outside. Use a whisk broom to sweep your tent out occasionally and before packing up. If you follow these simple house cleaning procedures, you'll seldom need to wash your tent. If your tent needs cleaning, follow any cleaning instructions that may have been supplied by the manufacturer.

A.Tents should be stored dry, free of debris, and folded in the same fashion as when you unpacked the tent (assuming that you bought it new). Keeping the inside of your tent free of twigs, leaves, rocks, and dirt will help prevent holes and tears when you pack it up.

A. Very easy. That is the single biggest benefit of inflatable tents for three-season use: you don’t need to fuss with poles! NEMO pumps come with quick-disconnect fittings which plug directly into the Valve Interface on the side of each tent. SAKO takes less than 30 seconds to inflate with the foot pump and less than a minute with the Integrated Pump! Deflation is just a matter of unscrewing the large cap on the Valve Interface and rolling the tent up.

A.Yes, but only with a NEMO approved inflation system. One of the great things about NEMO inflatable tents is that they are designed to be functional at low pressures and therefore don’t require heavy pumps or compressed air for inflation. Nevertheless, compressed air systems can be used for extremely rapid deployment, but they will need a regulator or blow-off valve to insure that the pressures do not exceed 8psi.
